Urgent Action Needed on These Two Issues Affecting Our Rights to Smoke in Indiana
SAY NO TO REPEAL OF THE SMOKER PROTECTION LAW
A group of Indiana health and business organizations are pushing for and supporting a bill that was introduced recently by State Senator Liz Brown of Fort Wayne and would repeal protections for smokers from employment decisions.
The bill, SB 23, would repeal a 1991 law prohibiting businesses from requiring employees to stop the use of tobacco products even when not "on the clock" at their jobs.
Take action now, contact your members of the Indiana House of Representatives and Senate and respectfully ask them not to support SB 23.

SAY NO TO SMOKING BAN EXTENSION IN INDIANA HB 1381
Indiana State Representative Charlie Brown has introduced House Bill 1381 ("HB 1381") which would remove the exemption that allows for indoor smoking in tobacco and specialty cigar stores amongst other places. Take action now, and contact your representatives in the Indiana Legislature and respectfully ask that they vote no on HB 1381.
